So I picked up my 2012 Tacoma double cab earlier this month. I'm new to the pickup truck world, previously had an evo 8 and then a Subaru brz. Got the truck for more practical use, and love it so far.

Well I traded my cummins powered, H&S tuned, 5" TBE, 2011 Ram 3500 crew cab long bed 2WD Laramie for a black 2014 DC TX Pro. All I can say is I love my taco much more than I thought I would and other than the power, remote start, and air conditioned seats I dont miss my Ram lol.

My taco feels so well put together, has solid driving characteristics, and looks bad ass. I look forward to taking it around the world when I head out to guard embassies around the world in a few months!

If anyone reads this I just want to say this website drove the selected vehicle options and vehicle selection more than any other source. THANKS!

Just picked up my 2015 dclb, had 7 miles when I drove off the lot. So far I love it, haven't owned a truck in a long while good to be back in one. I have lots of intention to get some mods done. Want to start off with wheels and tires and a little lift.

I (like the OP) was directed here for introduction. I just purchased a 2013 double cab. This is not my first toyota as I had a 240k mile 93 pickup. Love the trucks and finally own one. Don't know how much I will be doing to this one though. Potentially only a leveling kit and wheels and tires. My last truck turned into an ongoing project (SAS zr2). But here she Is.

My old lady just picked up a '13 DC TRD OR last weekend for me. I should get back in a few weeks from deployment. Nice to have a truck waiting.

Hello and Howdy from South Houston, TX.

I've replaced my beloved '97 4Runner Limited with a New-to-Me 2014 DblCab TRD Off-Road. 4Runner took a wicked shot from a 16yr old chica to the driver front quarter and they towed it away into the sunset.:( But I found exactly what I wanted at a local dealer and dove in. Lovin' it!! :yay: I have a lot of plans so I'll start a build thread. Until then, she was stock and now added 3"/2" Ready Lift/Leveler kit and wheels/tires. Bumpers and side rails next. Look forward to camping, mtn biking, kayaking, and fishing with my beautiful wife and two boys. She's X-tra beautiful now 'cause she let me buy it.

I've been wanting a tacoma badly since 2005, was finally able to get out of my Ranger and join the club last week. Picked up a near mint 2006 prerunner from an old man who purchased the truck new when he was 70 years old. It's got 60k miles on it and the gentleman logged everything he did to the truck down to every single gas purchase. I was hoping for TRD and/or 4wd, even though I don't really need it, but I couldn't pass this one up. I'll be ditching the steps and the tonneau cover. The fellow told me when he bought it he demanded the wheels and tires of another tacoma off the lot. I think the ones I have are off the TRD off road? Can anyone confirm?

    Hey TW,
    New member here.
Picked up my new Tacoma last week from Kanata Toyota: 2015 TRD Sport DCLB in BRM (loving the colour). Great to be back in a Tacoma. I used to have a 2000 4x4 Access Cab, took it on every road and trail in northern CA, but sold it in 2006 when the second kid came along. Drove a 4Runner and a Subaru since then. Looking forward to rediscovering the back roads.

New 2015 the day (9/17/14) I picked it up from Karl Malone Toyota in Draper, UT. Only things added so far is a Ready Lift 2.25" front and 1" rear leveling kit, and a black Plastidipped grill emblem. More to come...

Picked up my 11 Taco just after Thanksgiving. Immediately ordered the TRD quickshifter and just ordered front 5100's to level her out. Previously owned a 98 4runner for 7 years and an 05 Suby STi for 3. Back in the Toyota world and couldn't be happier!

2015 DCSB TRD Off-Road. This is my first Toyota. Love it so far. I've upgraded the tires and added a Leer shell. Gotta find time to install the OME suspension sitting in the garage.

Hello my name is Derek I'm currently eighteen and bought my first Tacoma at age fifteen. I've recently traded in my first truck for a little newer Tacoma and hoping to do bigger and better things with it. I'm on here to learn new things and maybe catch a few ideas! Thanks for reading! Here's a picture of my first beauty after I traded it in I found it in Oklahoma knew it was mine from the stickers and well they hadn't changed it. I did build the bumper but they removed my stinger
