Ya, I love this color on it, even better in person. They do make the long bed, I thought the OR only came in the 5' bed but I guess they make a few with the 6' but they're not as common as this was the only one I've found so far. Love it so far though.

Hello Tacoma world!

As you can tell by my handle I live up here in New England but have lived in the south (Virginia)and out west (California). I've been a Toyota owner since 2000. 1989 Toyota longbed with a 3" lift. Loved it! Actually got stolen from me but the San Diego police department found it for me...thanks boys! Upgraded to a 2004 tundra which I also loved...unfortunately the rough New England winter took her away from me early on in my move to New England...bridges freeze first!!! I then upgraded to the 2013 forest mica green TRD sport with a custom she'll from Leer. Now I'm onto my 2016 Tacoma TRD longbed...hasn't even been built yet!

 

Hello. 1st taco. 1st toyo. Had it 3 weeks now and I love this thing. Wish I could have found a manual tranny but maybe my 2nd time. White 13, 28k mi, very clean and well kept. Had the roll.n.lock bed cover, foldout gate, and ok nerfs. Not sure any of that will stay or go right now cuz I am just enjoying driving this. I seriously smile driving around. I traded in a Jeep...Libeŕtě...trail... ltd.(it was basically gifted to me), and felt like I won the lottery when I drove out of there. My manhood is on the recovery, along with my suavé. This is my first 'expensive' ride and I am glad it was so.

I see lots of nice looking rides on this forum so I look forward to talking to many of you when I grab my wrench.

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. Just bought my 3rd vehicle and 1st new vehicle. Picked up a 2016 Tacoma DCSB 6MT TRD Sport in Graphite Gray. Had a lot of trouble finding it. I live in WV and my local dealer wouldn't locate the truck, and would only order at a premium. I drove to PA where I found a dealer who was willing to locate the truck at the price I wanted. Two weeks later they found the truck in OH and went and got it for me. So far I love the truck, but only have 1,000k miles on it. I don't have big plans for it, but I do want to do a few things. Hopefully I can find all the information I need here! I'm used to searching for threads; have been a heavy user of the JeepForum, CherokeeTalk, and NAXJA for 5 years. So far I have added a bed mat, window tint to legal limit, window visors, and a radar detector. Looking forward to interacting with everyone!

Whats going on Taco lovers. Just bought my 2016 Tacoma TRD sport and I couldn't be happier! Im thinking about adding some Predator steps to the side so my 7 year old can get in and out easier.

 

Been lurking the forum for about two months now. Mainly on the " What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?" thread.

Hey everybody! Another lurking noob who has bought their first Taco! My very first car under 100k miles, so I am very excited for this beast to last me years on end. I never believed in love at first sight until I found this truck! <3

 

I'm new to tacomaworld world. I purchased my tacoma last February since I have put 15k miles and done a few mods. I de badged the truck and plastidipped the left over crome. I also put a leveling kit, but I just ordered a set of 5100's all the way around and add a leaf. Haven't had a chance to install it since I'm currently deployed. Also got more planned but we'll see how much I get done at a time. Since I'm on a budget niw with two kids it might take more time than I would like. what it looked like the day after I brought it home what it looks like now.

This is my first Tacoma and I love it so far. Ive mad 2 BMW's and both were a complete disaster. Super stoked to finally have a brand new tuck. Mostly bought a Tacoma because I want to do a lot of desert trips (mostly out to ocatillo wells for riding my dirt bike). I am most concerned that I bought a 4x2 and was curious about how off-road capable of really is. I have no interest in rock crawling or anything, maybe just some pre-running. How much can I do with the current set up I have? (2016 Tacoma with locking diff)

 

Hi everyone.

I picked up my new 2017 4WD Toyota Tacoma on Wednesday and I started customizing it the following day by removing the big bulbous black plastic license plate mount from the front fender, and replacing it with a new custom aluminum 3 pcs mount I designed and machined up out of 6060 T-6 aluminum.

The new bracket moves the license plate up and tucks it in closer to the bumper, and it only weighs 2 ozs more that the stock mount. After I machined the parts for the new bracket I powder coated them semi gloss black.







I’ve ordered up two new polished stainless steel license plate frames which I’ll install when I get the new plates for it, and I really like the looks of this new mounting bracket compared to the stock one.

Next mod is a polished billet aluminum horizontal bar grill.

 

My first truck! 2013 Prerunner 4.0L V6 with rear diff lock and 40K miles. Grew up riding in my dad's 1987 Toyota pickup so this was a sentimental purchase for me haha.
