    That’s a great choice.
I purchased my first ever new vehicle when I bought a DCLB Super white in January. But I really like the quicksand as well. A great color and I would have been happy with that as well.
    Welcome!

Hello from the great NW!! I am getting a 2017 Tacoma SR5 4x4 sometime this week. This isn't my first Toyo, I had a 82 Toyo back in the day. Took me anywhere I wanted to go plus some places I should not have been. I beat the heck out of it [ broke leaf springs, hit 2 trees left front,3 right front, headlong into ditch, backed into a couple and 2 rollovers, the last one was terminal] It was a great truck except for what I did to it. It was back in my drinking days!! Keger's at the power lines!!!......... I can't wait to get it. It has a canopy but I need better tires. One thing I want to get are some seat covers....can anyone recommend some good ones that are not to spendy? Like some that are make for the Tacoma.

Just joined up! Got my 2004 Tacoma the day before christmas 2018 and I've been lurking on here since then decided I'd finally take the plunge and make an account. Just got done installing a bilstein 5100 3" lift with toytec springs and AAL. Looks and drives great! Can't wait to start throwing some armor on it.IMG_20190706_194729.jpg

    Thanks!
The list of things to do just got longer. I came out this morning to find a small puddle of oil under my passenger side. CV boot came loose. Now i gotta track down an axle and a 35mm socket.

Well I just changed out the passenger side axle in the front this morning. Next on the list is upper control arms. Mine are showing some age and are real close to the springs now after lifting it. I'll probably get some new lower ball joints at the same time. After that's done some new wheels with just a bit of negative offset. An arb bumper some sliders and a rear bumper after that. Winch and lights to finish it off. Some kind of drawer system in the bed. Not sure if I want a topper yet or not. The list goes on and on. Lots of overtime in my future and lots of persuading to get my wife to see the value of all the upgrades. Once I get some extra time here I'll start a build thread and keep it updated with every new addition.

My 2018 Tacoma Limited was the first "new" car I've ever purchased. I've had many company cars that were new and I bought my xwife new cars. I had a 1998 Tacoma with 265k miles on it and traded it in on this newer truck. I love it. I just broke ten thousand miles and it runs great. These guys on this forum are amazing. The little tweaks that I've done to the truck are amazing.

So I've owned my Tacoma since September of 2017, but I'm just now getting around to joining TW. I've found a lot of good information in the last year and a half on here. I've been reading a lot of posts recently discuss pros/cons of tonneau covers versus camper shells. I just found a 2 year old Leer 100XQ for $1200 on Craigslist, and now my modifications are finally beginning.
Looking forward to being active in the Taco world, and building my little overland rig.
