Hi first time Tacoma owner from BC. Just received my 2021 Cement TRD Offroad. Going to be scouring these forums for advice on a tonneau cover, running boards and general tips. The last pickup I owned was a '71 Toyota Hilux. It's been awhile :)

Hey guys new Tacoma owner here. (2021 TRD Off Road DBLCB LB) Always wanted A Tacoma, finally was able to find a Tacoma an army green that wasn’t a pro (wanted a long bed) when I found out they were available in 2021 I jumped all over it. I’ve already done a ton of work to it I installed RCI skids, CBI sliders, Prinsu roof rack, Baja designs ditch lights, ARB twin air compressor, hi lift hood struts, replaced the TRD off-road logo to black as well as all the badging. Blacked out door handles inside. I have a Leer 180 camper shell on order and 2.5 inch king lift with reservoir, SPC UCAs and new leaf pack being installed in two weeks! Oh and now I’m broke.. lol

    Hello everyone!

10 years ago I was torn between a 2nd Gen Tacoma and an Xterra. I ended up going with the Xterra, and it's treated me really well for 10 years and 135,000 miles... but I'm trading it in to spend the next 10 in a Tacoma!

Mine will be the first '22 to arrive at the dealership here. It's a green TRD Off Road, double cab / short bed / automatic / 4x4. The build date is scheduled for October 4th and I should be behind the wheel by Halloween. Here's to the next decade!

Fellow mountain biker! See my first-ever post above... I'm buying mine to haul bikes too, and a commercial brush cutter for trail maintenance.

Is that the Dakine Pickup Pad DLX you're using? How do you like it, and would you recommend it? I've used a few tailgate pads on other guys' trucks and I think I prefer one like yours that doesn't have large individual cradles... easier to just toss the bikes in for a quick buzz across town.

I live in Sioux Falls too, and just ordered a green Tacoma! I haven't seen many green ones around town, so we'll probably notice each other if our paths cross. Your post is maybe the 30th one I've read since I joined this morning, so it seems pretty crazy to come across someone local with the same color right away.

Yup, it's the DLX pad. Very simple to install and use. I recommend.

Just joined TacomaWorld and following the directions when I signed up.

Proud owner of a 2019 White Tacoma TRD Pro. Appreciate all the great members and great advice posted in Tacoma World as I've been reading the threads for months. I got prompted to join after I could not find the answer to my question regarding Lightforce Unibar/HTX2 lights installed on the front bumper valance of my Taco, so I'm happy to be a part of the community!

hi, all been a lurker for about 5 months now. Me and the gf took delivery of our 21 trd or last week. So pumped! Doing a cross country road trip in November with my gf Sam and our bengal cat Kiwi! A Month plus on the road. Already added a mole panels to my bed and installed a trailer brake. About to ceramic coat it, and buy a Powershot tank for airing up tires(very backordered very sad). Also some form of yellow ditch lights to come soon.

Eventually it’ll be a full blown “overlanding” rig. Pop up in bed camper stuff

    long intro. Hi all!

    Work In Progress...
    Hey Everyone!

First post on TW and definitely excited to get to pick everyone's brain.

Just picked up a 2022 Lunar Rock Tacoma in a TRD Sport Trim with a Long Bed. Planning on building this rig out to fit my needs and likes while balancing being a new dad (coming Jan 2022). Live in Southern California so I guess some folks will say I will be building a mall crawler (hahaha).

Looking forward to learning from all of you! Feel free to let me know if I am a bit crazy for trying to do this while having a new baby (1st one too) or if you have any comments/advice on how to make it work.

Anyways, keep a look out for my name in the threads and appreciate the friendly hospitality here.

    Thanks!
