Did you notice the installer cut away the rubber insert on the inside of the doors? It made me cringe when I saw that is how it’s done.

Good day everyone! This is my first post. While this may not be my first new vehicle; actually this will be replacing my first new vehicle, a 2008 Honda Civic Si. Got about 178,000 original miles on it with the stock clutch still holding strong. What drew me to the Tacoma was the reliability and longevity, the manual transmission and the fact that it still relies on port injection. So many cars/trucks I had to take a pass on because the engine relied solely on Direct Injection. Seems to be a trend with me but I've been getting into things at the wrong time. Bought my first gun during the ammo shortage and now, after 14 years, finally replacing my daily driver during a vehicle shortage.

Anyway, here's what I am hoping for. 2022/2023 Tacoma TRD Sport Access Cab. I didn't drive the same car for over 14 years to settle for a pre-owned, so it has to be brand spanking new. I would like Army Green and of course a 6 Speed Manny. I have big plans for her, eventually want to build a PreRunner with long travel suspension. Looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing my Tacoma journey. Got plenty of questions myself.

HELLO FROM FLA USA! I am new here: I grew up in Okla. City, OK For the past 20 yrs, have lived in North Florida USA: In the past I have owned an 83' and 85' Nissan Ext Cab, A few Chevy S-10's and then an 02' Ext Cab Niss. Frontier: In ard 2019, I had a settlement and was saving for a newer used truck: wife and I had talked abt what to get. We had talked to our mechanic before getting her last car and we said we want something that we can just drive and not worry abt. and just drive the wheels off of it. He and the other mechanic suggest Toyota Camry: This got me looking more and more at Toyota Trucks. In the 90's I worked at Sears Auto and noticed that Toyotas, Nissans and Hondas were basically good all around brands. When my older Nissan Frontier needed repairs wife was to take it to the shop while I was at work: She thought if it needed repair then, would soon need other repairs and at 197K miles, it was nearing the later half of it's life, so she looked at used Toyota Trucks, in 2019 interest rates on used was so high that interest rates on new trucks was so much better, so when I got home that night, this was in the yard! With my other settlement checks and mandatory OT checks, it was paid off in 26 months or this past Christmas time!! I LOVE MY TACOMA TRUCK!!

Hi all!! Got my first Taco about 2 months ago. It's the 2022 SR5 Trail Edition. I know some aren't a fan (maybe many folks aren't); But I am loving it and have done a good bit of mods so far like tint, lighting, AVS shades, interior stuff, LEDs all around, etc..

New to the page, came recommended by a tuner I met. First Toyota I've owned, bought it 3 weeks ago...21 TRD Pro. Looking forward to learning as much as possible along the way.

Mods I've done so far: Westcott lift, 33" Wildpeaks, BA Bumper w/light bar and a tune.

Hi all. Just picked up my new Taco a month ago. Been wanting one for 20 years and last year decided it was time. It took almost a year to get it, I knew exactly what I wanted and was not going to settle. I will say my first color choice was Army green but when I saw the Lunar Rock changed my mind, glad I did, I love this color. So any way what's the first thing you do when you buy a Tacoma, join a Tacoma forum. Look forward to meeting everyone.

Finally joined the Taco fam with my '22 TRD OR! I've already started the laundry "wish" list for how to build this out. Not sure how to tell the wife that Santa is the one who gave us the parts lol.

First time posting on here, long time lurker. This forum has helped me out a ton with random things I have wondered about my truck, so cheers for that.
