Well This morning I took my taco and went on a very slippery muddy trail, That runs by my plant. It's full of pot holes that will swallow a bus, good inclines and plenty of silppery mud. Well I was very impressed. Mind you my taco is completly stock, Even the stock 245's did ok, I was sliding around quite a bit...

My only problem was bottoming out. I could feel, I guess the shocks bottoming out pretty good. I looked under my truck when I was done and saw, Scrapes on the T-case, Huge scrapes on the skid plate. So im pretty sure im gonna need some armor, When I hit a real trail.

It is not supposed to bottom-out... You need the TSB leaf spring upgrade for extra/ access cab and double cab Tacomas... I didn't know about the TSB for my 2005 DC TRD and paid to have air bags installed ($800). I have a 2010 now, and the new springs on it, don't let it bottom out.
