Picked up a 98 v6 5 lug with a 3" body lift and a shade under 200k miles. Im already in love with it. It is my first Taco, but I feel like I wanna take a big ol' bite.I recently moved to Oregon as well and want to do nothing but explore everything i see! Seems like with a little love she will still be up to the task.

After lurking around here for a week or so im actually starting to dig all the 5 lug fury goodness on here [what can i say, im a sucker for the under dog!] and am stoked on all the information you have all compiled [I feel like I owe Sperrunner, and a number of other members for that matter, a handy or two after the legwork those 5 lug stickies' saved me!]

Looking in to adding Doetsch spindles, an alcan leaf pack, and some new shocks/springs to put some life back in to her right now. There are over sized coils in front flexing the arm about as far as it wants to go and leaving me next to zero down travel. In a perfect world i will do the jd fab LT kit, but lets not get ahead of ourselves lol! She IS in great shape though, so keeping her rolling long in to the future is not out of the question here.

Couple of questions out of the gate after searching -
Will the mentioned upgrades offer me some more travel front and back, or am I going to have to go further pretty early on?

I am assuming I can get shackles from alcan in the process of getting the leaf pack [Correct?] and if so, will the mount(s) also then need to be relocated?
