Thanks for the welcome everyone! I pick up the Taco tomorrow. Got my first look at it in the dealership last night. The odometer reads 1 km. Already have the factory floor mats, bed mat, and matte black letters for the tailgate. All these parts and no truck yet...... can you say EXITED!?!

Well, its been just a couple days short of 4 weeks since I got my Taco..... and I couldnt be happier with the off road package, and the manual transmission! It has just the right amount of body roll and list to the suspension, and the trans makes all the mechanical sounds I expected to hear. On the down side, the halogen lights were a real letdown, as I was well aware of. The new H11 LED upgrades to the low, high, and fog lamps made a HUGE difference! They match the LED DRL lights nicely. The company is LED EAGLE from Amazon.ca . Great quallity, as I have used them before. The next mod was the exhaust. A flowmaster Delta 40 was welded in place of the stock muffler, and it sounds great! Glad I did my research first on youtube. Thanks everyone here at Tacomaworld for helping me to make well informed decisions on mods, and choices. Glad to be part of the group!

Welcome to Tacoma World! to tell you the truth, I'm kinda new here too. Never owned a Taco before, but because of being a mechanic, I have worked on a bunch. I just got 1000 miles on the new truck, and apart from what I changed on the truck in my earlier posts, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. Looks like you have/had an 04 stick ? My helpful suggestion would be to stay with a manual, if at all possible. And don't be too quick to purchase. Look over the 3rd gen area of this forum. Full of helpful people, and research for you to be informed of the choices and options you want. Hope that helps, and happy truck hunting!
