Hey folks, just signed on, came home with a 2009 sport trd, crew cab. Has a bunch of highway commuter miles on it, 310,000km about 186000 miles. I know thats a lot but it is a Tacoma...good price too. Really tight truck everything is clean and solid.
So I'm asking whats the list of things to do, check, change look like..? Tranny flush, diff and transfer case lube change, oil change, what else should I be scoping out?

    Thanks

Welcome. Fluids depend on last time they were changed, and if they look dirty.

Tranny and t case could be done.... diffs if they've never been done. Check the owners manual, but it should have Toyota super long life coolant T SLLC. It is as implied, super long life (check owners manual and service history) Don't buy in to aftermarket filters. OEM oil filters are better built. OEM paper filters are the best, but cost more money over time, I suggest an AFE Pro Dry filter, or some other dry re-usable filter.

Thanks for the replies. It did not come with service records so by default I'm thinking fluid changes, get the PH checked for the coolant and do some research on what sensors she has, location etc. and check them out. I know from owning a 4runner for the last 14 years fluids and sensors need to be replaced or cleaned...

    Cheers

For service history have a dealer service dept run your vin Might get lucky and see some history if dealer maintained. At least you would have a starting point. Heck see if the dealer will run a carfax too.
