Let me make this as short as possible...

Phone connects to stereo, makes/receives calls, music plays, etc... but it refuses to transfer my contacts. It gets to 226 of 408 contacts (when doing automatically) and then says, "There was a problem." It won't allow me to put them in manually either.
I had my truck back to the dealership today, and their tech expert said something on the phone itself must be preventing it, and to contact my phone company for support... which I did. They told me there is (nor could there be) ANYthing on the phone that wouldn't allow the transfer of my contacts. Either way, the tech at the dealership connected her iPhone to my truck... along with her contacts.

I know this is a stretch, but I really hopeful that someone here knows what to do and can be of some tech help for a new Taco owner.
    Thank you in advance.

I'd have to assume its a cap that Entune can use or entune is running out of memory. Have you tried another phone? Are your contacts linked?

The tech rep at the dealership tried her phone, no problems at all.
I don't see how the Entune could be out of memory, there are ZERO contacts in it.
Are my contacts linked to what exactly? They won't link with my stereo, which is my problem.

    UPDATE:

Although it still will not (automatically) update the contacts from my phone to my stereo, I've figured out how to at least enter them in one at a time. Good enough for me, at least for now. If anyone else knows about this system better, I'd still be happy to give any ideas a shot.

When I had my HTC Tilt II (yeah old) the problem I have when xferring numbers gave me a similar error it would get stuck at like 35 of 62. I went through and checked the contact at 35,36,37 and found that one of them had something stupid like work2 as the number line and my deck doesn't recognize that entry kept giving me an error. You might have to check the entry in your contact list and see of something is off and try again.

Pretty solid advice, and at least worth a shot. Thanks. Now to count my contacts...

It can be anything and something stupid. I also remember my iphone wouldn't even BT contacts to my Eclipse AVN-726E because one contact had notes and others was just name and number.
