Nice try at manipulating my situation, but you fell just a bit short of success. I guess I should have stated "dumb carwashers" all along, only that they were all Mexicans so I made a generalization. My apologies if I offended anyone. I admitted I made the mistake of not removing the mats in my own truck and almost had an incident, but I don't go tearing up other people's shit for $5.00 an hour. I just like to live on the edge.

My point of this thread was to share my excitement about ordering my WeatherTechs, not whine about my floor mats. It gave me a reason to share my experience with my fellow Tacoma owners so nobody ends up getting hurt by making the same choice that I made.

    Not really

It was a follow up to jp's Spanish quote.

And...it happens to be an awesome tune with a great message.

So, in closing, I just received my WeatherTechs today and I can't say enough good things about them. What a great fit right out of the box, and they aren't as slippery as I was expecting. They fit far enough up behind the gas pedal that I'll never worry again about it getting stuck. I'm happy again!

"If you are happy, we are happy." Oooops .... I was speaking to my wife.

Now, back to your mats. I am glad you like them. :D

I had this happen to me last week. Was merging on the highway with my foot flat on the floor, went to push the clutch in and I was bouncing off the redline. I did have the OEM floor mat plus another big rubber one on top. Guess I will have to watch it.... at least its not so dangerous when you have a clutch
