My Google is off...How do I find out where my 2GR-FKS was made?

My Google must be off. No other explanation for why I can’t find out how to determine where my 2GR-FKS engine was made, either here or any other parts of the inter-webs. The truck was built in Baja Mexico.

No real need to know about this, just a general curiosity and something to look for until the rain ends and I can go back outside (yes, I’m likely to melt if I stay out in it).

Thanks in advance for links and/or guidance. I expect some assholery to be included as well, so heres a hearty FU for those inclined to be such.

 

From a dealer visit in 2017, don't think much has changed except no more 5speed MT:

1st, SR, 4 cylinder engine and 5 speed MT from Japan


2nd, TRD Sport, 6cyl engine- USA, 6 speed MT- Thailand


3rd, SR5, 4cyl engine Japan, 6 speed AT- USA

 

I really wish I’d kept that particular window sticker. I’m pretty sure the dealer tossed it during delivery prep. I did keep the window sticker...

So, the 2GR-FKS engines used in Tacoma’s are only built in Alabama?

 

I am pretty sure Alabama is where all the 6 cylinder engines come from for our trucks

 

As far as I know, the entire 2GR series of engines has only ever been produced in 4 plants; AL, KY, Kamigo and Shimoyama.
