Hello TW. Please pray for my grandpa as he takes his final breaths. He's been fighting pneumonia and several heart attacks for the last five months. He overcame these odds back in 2007, but this time looks to be different. He got stronger about 3 weeks ago, but things took a turn for the worst in the last few weeks. We were hoping he would celebrate his 85th birthday on January 4, 2011, but it looks like God has other plans. Thank you, we could use any prayers/support.

    Joseph

    Joseph,

Prayers are sent for the recovery of your Grandpa and for the strength of you and your family. If enough people are praying for the same things the prayers will be answered so your family on the forum will increase those numbers

Thank you for the support. Since yesterday morning (10AM PST), the healtchare facility has not been able to detect his pulse, so his heart is fading. I actually got home and fell asleep at around 5am this morning. When I saw him a fee hours ago, he was still alive, barely. His eyes no longer open. I'm waiting for my dad to wake up so I can get an update. Him and his 4 sisters stayed the night at The long term care facility. Thank you again, he has been a fighter throughout all this.

His name is Gregorio Arrieta Reyes.

Thank you for all of your support, TW! He passed on last night at 6PM PST, with all of us by his side to watch him leave for his new journey. Today is tough. The rain is symbolic of how my family and I feel. He is missed, but we are glad that his pain is over and that he is able to watch over us now.

    Thank you again.

    Joseph
