Okay don’t bash me. First time doing this ever. I’m using cheap products just to see if I can get these to work. And if they turn out good and work decent I’ll retro fit my stock lights with quality products. More money in the long run but I don’t care.

Few questions. The projector kit I ordered says it uses a h1 bulb. My taco is a h4! Are these the same? Or so I need to run h1’s?
If I run a h1 bulb will if plug into my h4 on my truck? Or are these plugs the same?

Do I run a dual hid bulb kit meaning high and low beam?

Or do I run just a low beam bulb?

I’ve attached pics of the projectors I ordered. I also have buytl tape ordered as well. Housings have been painted just waiting on parts now.

    Thanks for any help

Also I guess I need to spice the red wire coming off the projector to the power wire going to the bulb? And the black one gets grounded correct?

The projectors are bi-xenon meaning it'll function as low/high beam via solenoid that'll flip the shield up. The projector calls for H1 bulbs and will only use H1 bulbs.(Mini H1 kit) To make all of this work, i hope you ordered a H4H HID harness because as of now, nothing will clip into anything. The connector from the bulb will run to the ballast. The wiring from the ballast will run from the harness. The harness will also contain the plug to connect into projector for hi-beam activation. That harness plugs into the driver side oem H4 connector which stems from a relay box that'll require 12v and ground.

Have any links to all of that? Lol seems like a lot

Like I said doing this all cheap as possible just as a project/experiment. Everything’s came from eBay so links to a eBay hid kit and everything needed would be great

Here is the harness. You can reuse it when you do another retrofit especially with parts from TRS. Just did my 4th retrofit using their D2S stage 3 kit and we get a TacomaWorld discount so keep that in mind.

One mounted just to see how it looks. Will finish them this weekend. Waiting for a wiring harness from trs and hid bulbs, and ballast from @outxider.

i think you will have trouble getting them to close with all that butyl. id suggest stringing it out much thinner. if not the headlights will have a gap to the fender and that bugged me so i had to reopen them. looking good so far.
