So I bought this 99 Tacoma Extended cab with about 192K miles on it a year ago. It hasn't been taken care of. Has quite a few issues, but I got it for $2600, so it's probably not the most horrible deal.
Someone lowered it and totally screwed up the ride and the wheels rub.
I will need a ton of guidance as I try to restore it as much as I can.
Here's the photo of what it looked like when I got it.

it looks worse now and I just turned 200K recently.
I pulled the lowering blocks out of the rear axle and that actually helped the ride a little, but the front-end is low and the wheels rub. Alignment is a mess.

SO... I bought a pair of "stock" strut assemblies thinking I can just pull what they had in there and lift the whole thing back up. It doesn't look like the original stuff will fit, so it seems to me someone messed this thing up royally. If I try to post some photos, can someone help me figure out what I need to bring it back to normal again?

I replaced the struts and shocks just this last week-end and gained a tiny amount of height. I don't know what spindles look like but I don't think this had it

Poor Taco :( Hope you get stuff worked out! I'm not of much help but I'd check what dean3324 said. Previous owner Could have put drop spindles on if the truck is 2wd.
