My inner cv axle boot leaked for a second time. Are my axels ready to be replaced or am I tripping?

Not reading all the replies but @Kwikvette is right. Lower the lift. Take it from me, a guy who has pulled more CVs than I care to remember because the boots kept tearing - a diff drop will not fix it, pretty silicone boots that rub will still tear, and at the end of the day you're only hurting your ride quality by cranking up the preload on the coilovers for 3" of lift.

The only thing that worked for me was going down to about 2" of lift. Might even be less actually. I stopped caring about the height lol. Finally no more blown boots

You really want height, get larger tires and do the work to make them fit (lifts don't fit larger tires, cutting does).

Tires give you clearance where it matters and won't effect the angles of your boots. But anything bigger than a 33" will take serious cutting if you take it offroad.

Apparently you can stuff 35s if it's a street queen, though I wouldn't want to hear what those speed bumps or tight turns sound like

I've had the boots on both sides, slip. Grease everywhere.
My fix was to re-pack with grease, then attach 3/8" wide "quality" Zip-Ties.
That was 20,000 plus miles ago.
