from my experience I think that the tree huggers aren't just limited to boulder. Colorado is definitely a left leaning tree hugger state as a whole.

Thats awesome. Everyone dreads getting laid off however most of the time you make out better in the end. I ended up getting about a 30% raise when I got my new job after I got laid off this time last year.

Dude, congrats on the job. I was truly bummed when I heard about you losing your job at EA, it was probably a fun place to work. But it sounds to me like you and your wife have found something a lot better for you guys. Congrats again man, enjoy it.

Man, why you breaking Colorado's balls?

We are not a bunch of tree huggers! Head south from Boulder and Denver area, we get real conservative down here, Air Force Academy, Focus on the Family, Ft. Carson, Peterson Air Force Base, Cheyenne Mountain (NORAD), Schreiver AFB, Compassion Int'l...the list goes on...

whoot! i received and sent back my official offer letter... so.... things are happening very fast now. initially, they wanted me to start on the 19th, but there was no way we could find an apartment, pack, move, and start a job in 2 weeks. so the 26th is my start date.

    wow! its real now :)

Good Deal...send me a PM if you need a good (hot blonde) real estate agent in the next 6 months. I'd be happy to forward her info to you. i know you have a wife and all, but if you're going t o spend time in car with someone when you decide to look at buying, it might as well be an attractive girls, right? Everyone likes a good looking girl...even girls!

    Congrats again!

so my wife and i just got back from colorado. we had 3 scheduled days of apartment hunting, but we chose the first apartment we looked at on the first day.. it was just too good to pass up. it was the one that Hoyal recommended (thanks, btw :) ).

    their move-in special was a $0 deposit.

so, we will be in westminster on 120th near federal.

Congrats soon to be Netmonkey! Your gonna love CO, I am your neighbor 600 miles to the east, but i get out there a few times a year.

Now you need to get to work making a Toyota tacoma themed video game. By the way does your new company make any games that we would know?
