I believe OP is blowing of steam in a way that will allow him to continue his employment. Sometimes you just need a release.

I've work at many helpless (people in charge) jobs, now I work with dead people with no complaints there.

Sounds like the answer to your dilemma is to work towards becoming a manager so you can begin getting rid of the bad apples.

 

My job rant...

I work an average of three days a week. There's zero accountability & zero expectations. At all levels of this private large multi-national corporation people are any combination of very knowledgeable, very productive or very professional and some people who are not...or even close. It's everywhere man...I'm 1 cog of the hundreds of thousands of cogs at my employer.

But most important is my life outside of work followed by the check cashing on Friday and job security.

Do what I do...do the best you can with what you do and say fuck it to the rest of it...you'll sleep better. BTW, that's my take on life in general...life is always good with the right attitude.

My job is getting old FAST right now. New processes and procedures are being implemented which is making my job much more difficult. Things that have worked well for so many years are all now changing to much more complicated than they need to be. I used to enjoy coming to work, now it is a chore to get any kind of motivation. The Nuclear world is a strange beast.

 

I am the opposite of mad atm. I've only been working at my new job for 2 months and I'm already getting promoted to supervisor. Most of the new paygrade will probably go to the taco...
