    Pretty much.

    My Job rant:

Having procedures, and policy's that are so easy, a caveman can follow them, yet constantly having to have instructional meetings, redundantly explaining how things are supposed to be done, and why. Dealing with "Holier than thou" employee, who seems to think the rules don't apply to him, then, when directed at what needs to be done...doesn't do it they way he was instructed, then blames someone else for their "mistake". Thinks they "know" more than the "Dumbasses" in the office, and changes procedure, only to end up costing the job a handful of thousands of bucks.........

That's perfect, these rear echelon HR/Corporate types whose very existence depends on me and my employees kicking ass while they bitch about minor issues that have nothing to do with making money. And yes 99% they are middle age white ladies. #myrant

With experience in many different professions, in my opinion the worst, is incompetent supervisor. Worthless employee is difficult but can be overcome. A job without clearly defined goals, or workable budget, lack of teamwork or rumor mongering are horrible situations to find yourself, but they can be tolerated until something happens to affect "change".

Incompetent supervisor is the only workplace issue I have not been able to defeat. It sucks your life and crushes your soul, leaving you thinking about it long after your shift is over.

    There's no "pill" for stupid.

One of the few advantages of driving a semi...NO supervisor walking by your office all the time spying on you, or harassing you. Even though the dispatchers could be a pain, I could just turn the alert off on the Quallcom, and ignore them until I stopped, since the unit was mounted behind me, and I couldn't see it.
Loved to aggravate them a little when I managed to show up in Lincoln, Nebraska. for a driver's meeting, by wearing one of my annoying t-shirts, such as the one with the hand of bananas on it that read, "Over 25% of Human Genes are the same as a banana. Get over yourself!", or the one the dispatchers REALLY hated, which said "I consider ON TIME to be when I get there!"
Of course, when I was in the Navy, a common question was "Do you want to talk to the Officer in Charge, or the seaman that REALLY knows what's going on?"

this oddly sounds like my old job. the only thing youre missing is the supervisors throwing you under the bus (and making you look like an idiot) to make themselves look better in front of customers part.

I lasted a year at that job before I put in my 2 weeks.

Today...... sending new guy to other site..... he had zero keys to open or lockup....so I had to get him a set......on a semi decent note tho, I got my xmas card and giftcard today.....so far not bad, I cant complain yet. But we did see a drone fly over which was kind of odd..... looks just like a turkey vulture but has a propeller.

The only "supervisor" I really have, is the owner of the company. So, Instead, I get to watch all the people that think they know better than the rest of upper management fuck things up, because they cant follow simple directions. Many people might think that their organization is run in a matter in which they don't agree, but there is most likely a reason behind it. However...because they cant wrap their brain around anything else outside of their little box, they automatically think its the "higher ups" that have the issue.
