What’s up guys, I’ve been bumming info for the last month or so and guess I was convinced to buy a Tacoma. I live in Utah and I’m 21 working construction so I followed the logical process of buying a truck outside of my means. My ride is a 2015 DCSB OR with 47,000 miles. Pretty much the same thing everyone else has. This is my daily driver, but I want to be able to push it off road and avoid breaking shit. First picture is when I bought it. Second picture is how she sits today. The third picture are the wheels I bought, Method 703s. Which I love. I very quickly discovered the bottom of my stock suspension so I just ordered an Accutune stage 2a kit. So that should be here in 7-10 years. Or the beginning of June. Which is faster than I was expecting. I will be doing a cab mount chop and hope to clear 285/70/17s without too much fuss.

    Things I want to do
    Chrome delete everything
Color match shell - wrap or paint
    Light skids
    Light bumper
    Gusset spindles
    Rock sliders

Does anyone have any advice? I’m thinking about installing my suspension myself, seems straightforward enough. Does anyone have experience with the Toyo Open Country AT3? Are there any bolt on performance mods that actually help lol? I was thinking of in the future doing headers, CAI, exhaust, retarded cam gears, and then tune to maximize gains. Buuuut if it’s expensive and not a lot of gain, then whatever. Any experience there? 7B0E54AE-5EEC-44DF-9807-0668E8F7D58F.jpg172DE69A-EC4F-4C88-82E9-00D4B2946B92.jpg 59999507-DA8A-44CD-88A1-929BB577ABD0.jpg

Welcome! Sweet truck. The Toyos have been good for me but any reputable brand's A/T will be fine, it just comes down to cost and personal preference I think.

Performance gains seem to be pretty minimal with anything that's not a (very expensive) supercharger. You can make cool noises with an intake and exhaust though
