First post here on TW. I want to start to surprise my lady and put some mods on her black TX Pro in between buying stuff for my '13 Wrangler Unlimited. As far as Jeeps go I know all the companies and sources for parts but with Toyota I'm just not familiar. Ive lurked around the forum a little and I like some of the mesh grills and bull bars I've seen. Ive got a 2.5" lift with 35s on my Jeep so I'd like to do something about that size on hers as well. Cant go any bigger otherwise Im going to have to go bigger too.

Any help with some companies and good sources to get parts would appreciated!

Once I start Ill make sure to upload some pictures

    Welcome to TW!

Sorry I can't be a lot of help with the XPro, as I run a stock fleet work standard cab, but please poke around and enjoy our community :) We're odd and eclectic but fun as hell once you get used to the joint!

(Also, on a side note, your headline had my brain thinking naughty things, and I had very different hopes when clicking on the link. Just FYI)

On my wifes I have a 6" procomp drop bracket lift. (Mall crawler, mines the actual offroad rig) went with a avid light bar (basically a brush guard)
    Avid side steps
and a okled light bar 20" on the front avid bar.

She seems to like it all. Once again her truck is pretty and a pavement pounder so allot of it is just cosmetic and doesnt offer to much real protection.

Thanks man. I mostly just plan on doing cosmetics. Small lift and tires but nothing crazy because its only 2 wheel drive and out her in Vegas, mud holes are few and far between. If she happens to find one and get stuck Ill yank her out with my Jeep.

Badgers, I don't need no stinking Badgers.
Since she is 2 x 4 get lifted spindles and a set of dakars on the rear.

If you have the cash do the shocks also, if you really have the cash grab some coil overs.

i think for a small 2-3'' lift most people would recommend these bilstein 5100's up front (rears if you want) (DSM is popular vendor)

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-1...n-rcd-5100-ride-height-adjustable-shocks.html

and an add a leaf in the back (toytec is a pretty popular site)

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...af-for-Tacoma-with-rear-TSB-springs_p_16.html

if you want to go cheaper, I was/am personally running a spacer on top of the top plate, has worked well for me, lots of people don't like it

another member mentioned spindles these are awesome,
    http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/maxtrac-spindles-for-05-toyota-tacoma.html

I have them too, they are awesome, you can use the original shocks and coils

and like others have mentioned if you want to go more $$$ there are tons and tons of options with coilovers

You are going to have to wax your ladies black taco all the time to keep it looking tight.
