As I suspected, I do need an upgrade because as of now the rear of the truck is higher than the front so what do ya think, maybe a 2" leveling kit might do the trick, I do want it to be a stiffer ride also so I'll make a run to Les Schwab in the near future to see what they recommend.

The rear is supposed to be higher than the front. It is typically 2" higher from the factory. Now where you want it to be is another story. The only way anyone can recommend how much lift, is for you to tell us the current measurements, and where you want it to be.

IMO, a leveled truck will still have 1" of rake (back 1" higher than the front). For about a month after I got my last set of 5100's set to 1.75" (~ 2" of lift in the front), I had just the factory leafs in the back. My measurements were dead even. 22" on all four corners from center of hub to bottom of fender. The truck still looked slightly nose high to me though. In fact, when I measured the bottom of the frame to the ground, at the front, and rear of the cab, it measured slightly lower in the back. I think the rear wheel wells are arched slightly higher than the fronts. It would explain the measurements. Be aware also if you do go with dead even level, any time you have a load in the back, it will ride nose high.
