I like it. I like a lot. I've had the SOS kit sitting on my shelf for 6 months. This is giving me some motivation to install. The wheel/tire combo is spot on. More of a muscle truck vs. a street truck....perfect. After seeing this I'm glad I have 265/60r18's coming. Now, mines a silver gen 2 but hopefully going to capture the same appeal. Funny how some Taco owners can't imagine anything other than a 3" lift, 16" rims and balloon tires...and 90% never go off the pavement. To each his own and I think you nailed it.

 

Hey Andrew....wonder if you have the details on the rims like offset/backspacing? I'm installing the SOS kit and going with the same size rims and tires. Want to see what you rim offset and backspacing was to copy it.

Perfect. I was deciding between 18x9 with either 0 offset or 20 offset. The 20 would move me a little closer to UCA so I'll go with the 0. Thanks.

Yes still has the rear drums for now. Will upgrade at some point to 4 wheel discs.

 

How do you like the brake setup? I have a set of st60/40 on my 335 and don’t know if I want to upgrade the brakes on my taco.

 

Love it. Great job. If I didn’t go off pavement, I’d copy that look in a heartbeat.

 

Not too much of a difference functionally I'm afraid. I hear the upgrade is more apparent when coupled with rear discs and the larger master cylinder. We'll see!

 

I go off-road probably more than most, but not like rock crawlin' or muddin' or any of that stuff. Still has more clearance than a Subaru.

 

I like it!

My only suggestion is to black out the pinch weld on the bottom of the rocker. It will enhance your already clean look.

 

I mean isn't this basically what the sport should look like from the factory?
