Yup. Me too! Except my revolutionizing idea for off roading will absolutely NOT be geared towards off-roaders.

Another TW thread that is all title no substance.

I have to ask why the OP would bother to waste so many people's time and in 30 days not have anything to justify even making a post? So far what we know about the "revolutionary product": It isn't patented, tested or prototyped. We can't look at it, hear about it or have any knowledge about it.

So there is nothing to be tested or to be talked about. You can't buy it. This thread needs a delete button.

well i hit a wall (figuratively) i am working on making an inexpensive (75-100$) deflate tool that could be left on your valve stem while driving. from your phone you'd be able to air down each tire to your desired psi. it would be no more than 2 inches in length.

Yea, but hitting hiway speeds is gonna be hard to figure for the CF force also tire balancing :bananadead:. It might be easier to make a valve stem replacement to keep the height down which would be a problem for most rubber stems.

    Good Luck!

dont forget security, would suck to drive by some punk and he uses wifi sniffer and decides to deflate all my tires without me initiating it :)

Combine it with the TPMS and now you have a viable product and a place to mount it. Just make sure the batteries can be replaced. Better yet, make the batteries rechargeable and fashion some sort of kinetic recharging system.

I feel like a less expensive CTIS that connects to an air compressor would be a better idea, especially when most major offroaders are already running say an ARB AC for their lockers, why not tap off of that pressure since it isn't used too often.

As an alternative, you could make just the valve portion attach to the tire stem. The rest of the device could be mounted securely behind the center cap where the added weight wouldn't affect the balance so much. The actual valve could even be mounted in the center cap with everything else, just have a tube connected to the tire stem. The batteries could then be easily replaced or a charging port could be added instead of a charging system, but a self charging system would make it complete.

You could even monitor the pressure and control the amount of air that can be put back into the tire. That way when the tires are refilled, they all fill to the exact same pressure or whatever the presets are.
