So I'm in the process of monster lining the truck. I'm going panel by panel and have to do the cabin next (going to remove the bed for this).

Already lined the roof, hood, fenders and bedsides but need to do a second coat on all pieces. I pressure washed the truck after doing the roof and hood, and the panels faded so not sure what happened there... going to recoat then though.

I also took clearer photos of my shackles as some asked about the angle. Hopefully this is safe lol.

Some pics of it after sitting for a day.

I definitely need to hit roof and hood again.

cool truck man, id kill for that mid travel set up, the spacer on my 2015 makes it ride like shit. i think ive seen another 5 lug with the mid travel driving ortega highway from IE to OC. passed by him a couple times but couldnt get a close enough look to tell if it was mid travel or just the spacer. have you had your set up since before they dicontinued it or did you buy it used?

forgive my ignorance, but i was under the impression only 1 shock fit with the total chaos UCAs on the 5 lug trucks, those discontinued saws i think they were? but now ive seen a pic with the saws, and your with the icon, the v2.5 3.5" coil over bolts right in the front with the those UCAs? or am i missing another part of the build? im sure it would be some time before i ever find a used set of the UCAs for sale, but im trying to get a full understanding of it all so im ready to go if i do ever find a pair

I was one of the first few buyers of the Full Mid Travel Kit right after Donahue Racing became ICON. Had these forever. This thing romps with this kit.

If it waa a white truck that had a kind of stink bug squat I know thw truck. He was a super cool guy. Went MT up front and LT in the back with Deavers. You can do a lot more w the rear on these. That why I slammed big ass 6 lug rear shocks in.

There were Sway-away and Fox shocks for long travel originally.

For mid travel they had ICON which was formerly Donahue Racing. You have to swap the UCA which was 5 lug specific. Its a small triangle (Mid Travel) versus an elongated and slightly bent triangle at the middle (long travel)

Front is ICON but good luck finding the UCAs.

Rear is a 6 lug set of icon 2.5s, with the MT AAL. I will go deavers and trailing arms eventually. Theres another dude on her with a purple taco (all through this thread) who built his own MT shocks, welded in shock towers, and slammed custom Kings on.

Time and money makes all things possible.

i re read the post and realize it said icon now. my memory was blurred on that. yeah i know those uca are rare its along shot, there was a guy i knew back in like 2016 who had his truck built with them, and i think his dad still has the truck, trying to get back in touch with them to see if theyd sell it. this guy managed to get sway aways to work with the mid travel it seems? he hasnt been active in a while though so i doubt hell answer any questions.

yeah ive seen the white truck, and one that was painted the desert sand or tan color. browsing the old suspension threads it looks like alot of CA guys got the mid travel kit back in the day so i may have a chance at coming across a set for a sale or even end up buying a truck with em on it to swap over one day, but i dont have high hopes. im not sure what route im going with the rear, ive seen some guys go crazy but i work out of it so i cant do the shocks up in the bed and stuff, maybe just some bilsteins with the remote resis in the rear, i dont need the back end crazy if the fronts just a spacer
