I'd take that over a supra any day of the week. Been in love since the original fast and furious came out and I saw that yellow one. Such clean, sleek, body lines @AR15xAR10

    Back for another log!

So once i knew the engine runs fine it was time to start putting the drivetrain together. So on came the axles and driveshaft. Way easier with a friend to put in the axles because man i lost my mind trying to get these freaking things in.

    20150829_120134_zpsnfs7fnwp_6497b392c63d3bbc4f5ef2f12727330bf0d81f27.jpg

    20150904_163327_zpslujxmusg_bdb179e339f98142daaa84a0a78d5888dd7e5bd2.jpg

Of course i bought brand new bolts since the old ones i had to heat up to break them free. Replaced them all for the front and rear drivashafts. Once that was all tightened up it was time for some new suspension with adjustability :)

    20150905_150237_zpsj7kznzqz_ce03d39e38cd8b19669bf99c54f04427c8746c3b.jpg

    Looking sooo fresh!

Had new suspension on all four corners of the car the ones in the picture were the rear ones. Next came the shifter and boy did i ever have a time with that one! The first time i did this reading the instruction i completely forgot about the spacer that is suppose to go BEFORE you put the shifter in.

Once the shifter got in it ended up being stuck because i didnt realzie the nylon bushing got caught underneath the shift fork hole. Once i got the thing free there was no longer a bushing on it. Well the news on that it fell inside my transfer case at the bottom.

    20150911_132239_zps4hmnlzqz_80e941ab050655129b4bae796d6f34ee36f6ceb6.jpg

So minor fix but really time consuming. Lean down the transmission with the jack. Remove the top cover to see where the hell it fell into. Drained the transfer case and out came the nylon bushing….

Round 2 with this shifter everything went in smoothly! Thanks goodness!

-So the simple stuff left to be done was re-route my boost controller since i had it plumbed in wrong the first time.
-Wired in my AFR gauge with the sensor going to the test pipe
    -Finished up the
    interior of the car
    -Bleed my clutch
-Adjust the clutch since it felt the clutch was releasing right before the pedal bottomed out
    -Changed transmission oil
-Added oil to the front diff

Then here come the fun part! A test drive! Had a few of my friends come over for the big event (sure felt like one!) to give me a hand to get the car out.

    imagejpeg_2_zpsrlo09wed_541aa6d9c7e96d4bbfab3031c4987b1f647e42a8.jpg

So once we pushed the car side ways on the dollies i borrowed from a friend of mine the car was almost straight ready to pull out of the garage. So lets fire up the engine! Well the engine didnt want t ostart this time around…… so like wtf? whats going on here im saying to myself…. well simply to say my friend grapped a 12ft hose and dumped it into my gas tank to realize i had no fuel left in the tank… oooops!

A run into town and back we picked up 20L of fuel. We try this again to fire up the engine and nexthing you know i have my purring engine back! So now the next test, is it going to go into gear? pressed down on the clutch pedal and bam, first gear the shifter goes into with ease! Out comes the car out of the garage!

    imagejpeg_3_zpsnsvj63cg_313d0a0ce7de061d48f0253c4f89239ab79730e9.jpg

We that done the car on idle wante to die as if there was a vac leak, but onward we went anyway for a cruise around the block! I do say i noticed quite some interesting things with this cruise i had. Next thing you know i come back around the house and park it back in the driveway.

    imagejpeg_5_zpsarbg5fvk_067af1e9f7b3c1cf47ea63719b5ea742f1955a9d.jpg

So thats where things are for now. My AFR's are pretty lean 16.0-17.0 on idle and 13.0 at WOT on 3rd gear at 3500RPM's. So with the car idling and wanting to die pretty sure ive got a vac leak somewhere but what a pleasure to finally have this car running back on the road :)

My thoughts exactly haha doesn't mean I hate supra's. A friend of mine let me drive his and they can be just as fun as a skyline

Thanks man, the only thing though this car won't see winter. Just maybe a few weeks left of fall here if I can get my vac leak fixed
