    I recently bought a 4x4 1998 Tacoma 1.4L with a 5 spd trans and 160,000 miles, my first Toyota truck since 1979.
It has no rust and an amazing solid frame.
The trans often grinds a little when shifting.
    The clutch looses fluid slowly.
Brake fluid drips from the transmission.
I joined TacomaWorld to lurk and research my clutch/trans problem.
