rides great. Rear shocks are topping out though. I need to find out if I get Bilstein 5100 for the rear, if they will be long enough to solve my issue. anybody know?

Your truck looks great! How much lift did those AAL's raise the back end?

less than 300 for lift not including installation, and around 750 for tires. I did just order rear bilstein 5100 shocks that were around 150. 1200 plus 200 to install lift. so 1400.00.

absolutely zero rubbing. I hunt out of this truck and gets its fair share of ruts and bumps. I haven't had any rubbing at all.

update. added 5100's in the rear. I still have the "clunk" from shocks topping out when the rear wheels drop down in a hole or rut. I may have to add the shock extentions as bad I don't want to.

I also developed the a little vibration from the driveline. Added 3 degree shims from Toytec and it didn't really help. Cant return them so they will be for sale. Actually got worse when towing my trailer and hunting golfcart. Going to remove them because it didn't get worse when towing without them.

I may even ditch the 2 inch aal and go with the 1.5 and also lower the front a little. Also may ditch the front spacers all together and go with 5100 for the front. So those may be for sale soon too.

I've had countless Toyota 4wds lifted over the years with this type set-up and never an issue before. This is the first 2nd gen tacoma though.

I also have the sloppy wobbly steering some people have mentioned when going over small bumps off road. Feels like the front left tire is flailing around. I know its not, thats just what it feels like. Some say due to the intermittent steering shaft having slack from factory. I guess nothing is built like they used to be. Keep in mind I don't do any major off-roading. THis is just driving around my hunting lease.

Anyway, sorry for the long update. Feel free to give me some feedback on my issues. I may have some lift components for sale since I can't return any of it to Toytec.

Can you post a couple more pictures that are head on. I want to see how the tires look with width in mind.
