My new 2017 Tacoma!

Hey, I posted a while back but still havn't got around to taking some decent pictures of my new ride...

I can't wait any longer, I have to show these beauty to the good folk of TW.

I wanted to get the Pro, I'm in Canada and for some reason it was an impossible request... So I came close... I'm happy with it, the inferno is my new favorite color, and not on the pro..

I don't know about you guys but, I have no idea what the hate is about. I love this truck, I cant wait to drive it. The manual feels so good, I love shifting, I love the engine, the power is right and I do notice good fuel economy. On the highway I was getting 12 litre per 100KM which I'm happy about... and surprisingly I got 10 litre per 100 km while driving around the city, and I was shifting at 4k rpms and then just cruising... I only got 300km on it so far, not even broken in.

I love this color so much, the inferno and the black look so good, I cant stop looking at the truck. I get stopped all the time in the parking lots, people staring at it, other tacoma drivers giving thumbs up, I never really experienced that in my 2015 Tacoma in grey ( It was so normal ).

This truck feels sporty, it makes me feel excited to drive, I love the feeling I get when driving it.

 

Glad you like your truck. Also you getting the manual is why you have no complaints. Given I have the auto, and have very few complaints.

Damn thats a sexy truck! And its the manual! Got to be the best looking pretty much stock 3rd gen! That manual is a dream, hope to see more.

I have owned lots of vehicles over the years... I have never had this enjoyment since I bought a Toyota MR2 a few years back...
I don't know how else I can modify it at this point, except for maybe the letter inserts for tailgait / glove box and door sill.

 

Oh just wait, you'll see something, probably on this forum and you'll want it. Better keep a credit card handy with a big limit.

if they come out with trd short shifter... I will buy
if they come out with supercharger... I will say goodbye to my money happily

 

I what you are referring too is the block heater

 

I was thinking about it... only problem is I really like the seats, they are black and have orange stitching and really brings the interior together.

Are those the 2nd gen running boards?

 

No they are cloth. The leather was just available in the limited... but a brown leather.

Also the Pro had leather, I was gonna get the pro but they couldn't get me one. So i just came as close as i could

 

I think Leather only comes in the Pro and also that Hideous Diarrhea Color Leather in the Limited.

 

They were one of the options from the dealer... I think they are on the Toyota website, they were about 700 cdn compared to the chrome ones 1300, the black fits better I think, the chrome would of threw it off.
