The SB has been gone for 55k. Useless on the Sport or with any good suspension.

That would be true for a blown out mount, but not a worn one(s).

Many more than just us. If you search out the suspension clunk resolutions, you'll see a lot of fixes with the front mounts including a few vids of the issue.

Labor shortages impacting all industries. Everything taking longer. Appointments/Schedules are done days out in advance so a drop-off for something unscheduled should be expected to sit a few days.

Ah? O.K. but wouldn't something like this take some time to become an issue? Moving at a very low speed I would think it would be a suspension issue rather than a twisting of the body or frame?

But, It's really hard to diagnose unusual sounds when all we have to go by is someone's description on a forum.

Hopefully the OP can have everything sorted out by his local dealer.

These have failed within the first couple thousand miles for some folks....and if all mounts aren't loosened and realigned it will happen again. I think I remember reading about one guy who had like maybe 10k on his truck and was already on his 3rd set of front bushings.

"Lemon Law" is a tricky one. The Lemon Law does state that. But getting it enforced is really difficult.
I believe it needs to be something significantly wrong? Not just an annoyance or sound. But depending on the dealer they may just take it back? But for most dealers I've experienced, they will fight tooth and nail to avoid giving you anything back.

I have seen posts of body mounts needing replaced quite early. With the number of misalignment posts (bumpers, beds, and cabs), a misalignment could tear up a body mount, esp those front two in short order.

Mine definitely developed over time though and it was noticeable only when cornering hard. As it became worse, it was easier to make happen also.

That is why I gave the long winded breakdown and my resolution as a suggested path forward. It is up to the OP and his dealer to do with the info as they wish.

In the end, a clocked stock spring or SB contacting a spring would be pretty much in the dealer's face where body mounts have stumped a bunch of folks.

The OP only had his truck for just over a day. sounds like he noticed the sound immediately. (I could be wrong?)

I suppose if it were severely misaligned it could wear that quickly. I'm not saying that it is 100% the issue, I was just saying there a quite a few people with similar symptoms and the solution was replacing the front mounts and it will be a quick check for the dealership.

Not necessarily. I replaced the coilovers on my tundra and it developed a popping sound while turning. (Never had it before) No obvious signs of contact or misalignment. I haven't had the chance to compress the coils and rotate the them Yet. More an annoyance than an immediate danger.

Every SB spacer issue that I have seen around here left marks on the coils. Never had the joy to experience myself.

That said, stock Taco on the stock suspension is quite unlikely to be having SB to coil contact.

Agreed! I wasn't saying it couldn't be the problem.
We can't actually hear the popping sound. So we have a very hard time diagnosing it issue.
All we can do is provide possible suspects.
Hopefully the OP can suggest it to the dealer and they can look into it for him.

Agreed! SB issue would be more likely on a lifted truck.

Every State has its own Lemon Law. You need to read the law and see what your specific State requires.
Dealerships are not the ones who are the deciding official, nor are they taking the financial hit on a buy back.
The manufacture (Toyota) is who you would make the claim against.

Some shops don't appreciate you telling them what it could be, i'd just explain the issue best as possible and let them fix it.
