My new 2021 Tacoma Off road Cement

I taped up the holes in the storage cubbies and it made a huge difference. And you got to make sure the tailgate window is secured nicely. I recently installed a magnet system so that it just attaches to my tailgate. I was using Velcro on the top of the tailgate before and it wasn't very reliable. A little bit of dust still gets inside but not enough to make me not want to camp in it

 

There's also a thread here all about soft toppers where there's a ton of good tips and info. A few hundred pages long now. I think it's something like let's see your soft topper.

That’s a really good idea I’m going to grab some tape and coverup the holes from the cubbies. Is there a specific tape that you have found that has worked best or will the duct tape just work fine?

 

I used duct tape and had to change it out after a few years. There's probably something better

This trip was back at the end of March. We camped in Lone Pine and got to drive into a cave with our trucks.

 

Fast forward was planning on converting her into a 4x4 was able to find a transmission and Fj transfer case back in the beginning of May. Supper stoked! to tackle this bad ass project with the help of my friend after doing tons of research!

 

We did pioneertown to big bear ohv route then ended up in the village for some lunch with @sicki @Rakso and another few members on here. Could of sworn I had more pics of this run.

Forgot to post that I got myself a new set of rims

 

Been slowly stacking and getting some deals on some parts a few items I have ready to throw on.

 

Fast forward two months ago I flew out to St Louis Missouri on a one way airplane flight. After searching here in California and all the dealers wanting 10-15k over MSRP I was able to get in touch with a sales manager at the Toyota Dealer and work out a deal with no price increase of any kind. They had the exact build and color allocated to arrive at their dealer in which I had been looking for the past 4months with no luck. I received a phone call from my sales manager that the truck had arrive that same night I was on an airplane to St Louis. Got picked up by a sales associate from the airport in the morning then just signed and was on my way to California on a 2k mile road trip.

 

Does anyone know how to move this thread to a 3rd gen build thread?

I really enjoyed driving through Utah and stoped to enjoy seeing all the scenic places. I slightly took a detour and headed to Zion national park as well. If you haven't not gone its a must. I plan on taking another trip to Zion with my family.
