    thanks
thanks, i love linex. the only bad part is that it shows, holds dirt bad. i am lazy, i just spray tire foam on it and it cleans it right off and looks
    great.
:eek:change your clothes, lol thanks, i guess
thanks, i know i will take alot more pictures then.
    thanks
    thanks
    thanks
    thanks
thanks. the fog lights are micro hella's, at first i wanted to use
the factory fog lights, but they are just way to big to try and cram in
that bumper. they would have had to change the design of the wings
alot. i did not want them to do that.

the weight, i would guess somewhere b/w 135 and 150 pounds.

they gave me a break on the price.
i got a rear bumper from them last year and was really impressed with how it was made. i begged them to make me a plate style bumper, in late
september 2009. in october, he sent me a text message with a sketch. i then sent him a deposit and told him i did not want the bumper until may or june of 2010.

because i was one of the first, or the first one to order, he gave me a break. i did not want it before then, b/c i was going to wait until my tires were shot, and then do my lift. the latter part of april 2010,
he told me that they would have access to a water jet, the last of may
it was comming online. i knew, they then could do some crazy design, so i said i wanted to wait.

i sent them a bunch of sketches, to give them an idea of what i liked, but told them, i wanted them to come up with something. i did not want to send them one thing and say do that, i could not make up my mind anyway. they just let me have alot of imput b/c i was one of the first, and i liked that. they won't let others pick their design, and honestly, they created this one, and i am very happy with it.

i wanted to have a bare metal section, that is made from aluminum.
it is weaker than the rest of the bumper, but i wanted that, more for
looks. it should be fine though. i have aluminum skids on my atv and they
have held up great, but a truck weighs alot more.

the water jet was later comming online than expected, i got everything
the last week of june. holiday, and family events held me up getting it
    on.

that is the history of it, it took along time, but that was because i
was not in a hurry. i honestly, let my tires run the whole show.
when they needed replacing, that was when i would do everything.
i just started buying parts for my lift between september 2009 and june
2010. i needed that much time to figure out what i wanted / needed.

the bottem line on cbi, they make great products and are great to work
with. sure, it might take longer than other places, but they make great
products. it is well worth the wait. they only make you pay 50% up front,
so that makes the wait better.

    thanks, i know.

Only issue is that the bumper, when it flexes, instead of bumping up under the painted surfaces, will flex and scratch your paint. No?

Looks great buddy! One question- does it bolt up that high (no gap betewwn the bumper and truck) or have you adjusted it that high? I've seen pics on the CBI website that looks like there is more of a gap, just wondering.

the way the bumper sits off the truck, (free floating) prevents this
from happening. you can move it closer, but if i moved it closer, it makes
the sides point downward. i was trying to keep it level. if the truck or bumper flexes, the way they over lap, with the slight gap, prevents
the two from contacting each other.
i am pretty sure i have it right. there is plenty of space, gap, on the wings. that is where the flexing will be, farther from the center of the truck.

thanks, it is a great view in the winter. there is a 15 ft wide strip of land
on the backside of the pond, on the other side of that, is a big reservoir.

    lol, thanks

i got the linex done local. it was $150, just make sure you tell them where
to spray. you want to be able to remove the bumper from the bracket.
roll up some card board and stick it the 4 threded bolt holes. there was some
overspray on mine and i had to cut it apart in a few areas. it was not that bad.

this will give you an idea. you can see the 2 clips where the factory
one attaches to. on each side just in front of the big bolts. there are
2 small screws that hold the factory skid on after it has been hung
over the hooks. there is not much room there.
