Off-roading (aka wheeling) is a term for driving a vehicle on un-surfaced roads or tracks, made of materials such as sand and gravel, riverbeds, mud, snow, rocks, and other natural terrain.

Wait, so you guys are saying that he needs a synthetic line? For some reason I thought the other guy was saying he should wrap it differently or take the line off the winch when he's not winching. I do get that synthetic line is better than cable, if that's all this means.

Yea this could work. I would say measure to see how much lift you have and then go from there. With that bumper, I would say that that the Expo would give you 4-4.5" of lift. If not, you could go with a shackle flip. Whatever you decide, just ask. We are here to help.;)

Yea, well I'm running the same set right now (loaded down with crap) and get 3ish inches of lift, when unloaded you could get 4" no problem, larry said he was at 4.5", so even that with a 1" block would be acceptable

When I was looking into getting the RCD lift, I called alcan directly to find out the possibility of them building me a complete leaf pack specifically for the RCD. They told me that it would be $250 a pack, so you are looking at ~$500+shipping for a full leaf setup in your truck

Measure twice, order once!:D You need to figure out exactly how much lift you have...

    Synthetic > Cable.

Syntethic doesn't require a roller type fairlead (that square block with four rollers on the front bumper), that's why the other guys were saying to switch.

Removing winch line, particularily cable, is a pain in the ass.

The headlights and hood look horrible, way overdone on the Rice-A-Roni factor. .

The rest of the truck is nice, though I've never been a drop bracket fan.

The OBA, towing setup seems solid.

Big improvement points are waiting in the wings if you ditch the All-Poo front and rear and get some real armor on there. Even bigger ones if you wheel the piss out of it.

Right...so opinions are only worthwhile if they praise the truck.

Sorry not all of us like the show-no-go motif

There's some quality hardware under your vehicle, but it's confused...can't decide whether it wants to be a street queen or a trail truck. Needs to pick a team and play IMO. Sorry to chafe your ass.

Hey man, sorry you don't like. Nice truck you have btw. Very blue but very cool. I checked out the bullet-proof armor but I really like my poo better. Just a preference I guess.

Man, sorry. I thought the monkey was funny. Who doesn't like monkeys in a post? I do. I don't take any of it seriously. I could care less if my truck is a street queen, trail boss, tough truck or any other crappy mumbo-jumbo. I bought it because I liked it. Hopefully after 7k posts or whatever you have you haven't taken all this a bit too seriously. You have a cool truck, be happy. It doesn't change the fact that his post with the monkey was hilarious.

It's not a complete don't like. Just some. Nice suspension set up, nice wheel/tire combo, nice Tacoma...but other parts make me cringe.

Honesty is as honesty does, I suppose.

    These ---> :rolleyes:

Mean seriousity (word?) has been thrown over the cliff. Don't worry.

Like Lurry said, who's hating? Seems to me most of the time others take everything too seriously.
