Yes, outside shower for dishes, washing feet off at the beach, washing anything, or taking a shower (outside....no thanks, I'll spare people)

Nice, looks like that deck on the front is so you could haul dirt bikes or something while the tent is folded up.

Regarding the weight, the cool thing is....it really doesn't way much. It ways 2250 empty and has a GVWR of 4500. The hitch weight is like 250 unloaded and I guess could be up to 1000 if you really load the crap out of the front deck. In that case you would need to get a weight distribution hitch, which runs about 300 bucks.

We love it like crazy right now and can't wait to do all the yellow post sites in San Bernadino...so much camping to do and so little time.

Oh and that furnance works great! It was like 40 degrees and we turned that sucker on and I felt like I was cheating to be honest. it warmed us up real fast. Of course you don't have to use it and we didnt run it all night.

The cool the is you feel like your still camping in a tent, lol. But you have all these ammenities but still kinda exposed like tent camping. Its a good comprimise.

So did I convince anyone else yet? Lets make it a Tacomaworld tradition and start an annual Tacoma Pop-up camping trip!!!

I'm actually bringing the travel trailer to the Costa Mesa-area to do some beach camping. San Onofre to be exact. It'll be a chore going through the grapevine with that thing :D

I have a 2007 Baja and I absolutely love it.

This will be my first year towing it with a Taco, how does it handle the weight? I normally dont haul anything on the deck so that should help.

Previously towed it with an F-250, barely noticed it was there...

I love it! I really gotta convince my lady to let me buy one :)
Would be great for family camping (tent on the ground isn't too comfy), fishing trips and moose hunting. :)

Got mine new in 2004. Best mod you can do is to swap the single 12v battery for two 6v golf cart batteries wired in series. Lasts a lot longer off the grid. Haven't had any major issues with mine yet...love it.

It looks like you take yours offroad quite a bit....what have you done, if you have done, when you get to a dead end with the camper on say a mountain road? How do you turn around without backing off a cliff?

Its the 10Z model right? I like the 10Z model and may have considered that one, but I'm liking the bigger deck and it still fits (barely) in the garage.

Nice rig man! Got any more pics?

Yeah, it's the 10z. I don't bring any atv's with me, and the smaller deck is big enough for my decoys and coolers and stuff. We do get off road a lot, hardly ever camp with hook-ups. You definitely do have to be careful about getting into a situation where you can't turn around. I've had to unhook and maneuver the tongue around twice and it was very sketchy both times. Once almost rolled off the side of a mountain!! If we are way far in the back country, I'll unhook somewhere level, and scout ahead with just the truck before committing. Just gottta use some sense, and be aware not to get too far in with no out. It really is a blast. Get a Buddy heater for when its cold, the blower for the heater sucks a lot of juice, and switch the incandescent light fixtures to leds, and I can go 5 days easy. You'll love these campers. I'll try to dig up some more pics later.

    Bump for update!

So, how you guys liking the Baja 10y to date. Really considering one of these for the Tacoma/Wrangler Unlimited. It's been 2 years so you should have some good feedback now!
