I already had the Taco...and I normally ride my 93 VFR on the street. I'd hate to have choose....:(

I would have to slip my clutch, holding around 5 to 6K until the 60, and even then, there were a couple of times I wheelied to high, and chopped the throttle......Im pretty green running a bike thru the 1/4 though.

Cool bike man. Drag bike were never my style, but I'm cool with anything on 2 wheels. I always preferred the twisties to straight line balls out speed runs.

My last bike was an 04 Buell XB12R Firebolt that I bought new back in 04. When I finished my Master's in February of 08 I decided to sell it to make room in my budget for the student loan payments. A guy bought it in April of 08 and within 48 hours he had crashed it and it got stolen. The guy didn't have full coverage insurance on it, so I'm sure he enjoyed making payments on a bike that he had for less than 48 hours. I'm so glad I didn't let him have the bike until his payment cleared!

Here is some pics. I spent so much time modding that bike. It killed me when I found out it was stolen.... The first pic was stock and the second was just before I sold it.

Impressive. I have quite a bit of respect for you guys that have the balls to battle the crazies out on the road.

At one point I had an old Honda Hawk 650 but decided to keep the wheels to the dirt and stick to dirt bikes.

Thanks. It's a blast. Frustrating sometimes, as it's not easy to put a complete run together every pass. I did manage to run a 9.46 last night dropping my PB a 1/100th.
I plan on removing the secondary flies out of the throttle bodies and remapping this week to see if that will change anything. I can see 9.3 with this set up...I just have to do MY part and ride it hard out of the hole.

ran 9.32 Friday night. Finally broke through my 60' barrier and am dropping my short times again. Pulled a 1.56 60' to run that 9.32. Pretty stoked and still short wheelbase!:D
