Fair enough. Is there going to be a decrease in ceiling height inside? If I remember correctly, there was a pretty significant decrease [like a couple inches] for most vehicles including the Taco.

 

Does anyone know if I can keep the bull bar but complete it so that it’s going over the whole bed? I have seen videos of this full ARB bar set but it’s not clear if it’s a totally different setup or a completion of what they started with the single bar

 

Do you mean a bed rack? Because a bull bar is for front bumper. The mullet looking thing you have is called a Sport Bar, some googling, looks there isn’t an extension for it, have to buy the bed rack.

Are you new to trucks or something? A lot of your questions seems that you are, not that there is anything wrong with that, we all had to start somewhere.

So what kind of ranch do you have, a bunny ranch, growing the devil’s lettuce, or??? Just curious, because a rancher would know all this.

 

TR, youtuber has confirmed there is an extension to the ARB sport bar that makes it a full rack. I didn't save the link and don't have any further details because I am putting a topper on mine.

Gotcha, just wondering you sound very new to the truck market asking simple basic questions. Not knocking it, as we all start somewhere, some early in life some later. Was wondering what type of ranch it was, seeing a spendy TH, just assumed you might be running drugs for the cartels being in Texas an all and needed to haul ass across the desert with bales of cocaine…(J/K)

Haven’t paid too much attention to the sport bar, because I don’t care for them, but see it now as it is bolt together modular.

Gotta say liking the KO3s so far. E rating doesn't feel like jack hammers. No discernable difference in noise than the OEM. The one time the pavement was wet here I didn't feel uneasy. It feels like I didn't change tires at all. Haven't been real off road yet or snow, so impressions ongoing.

lol …bit of a dig there … I don’t agree that my questions are that basic. They are just idiosyncratic to this truck. But … anyway… I am a lawyer and I like land and being outside. There are many things you may not know much about that I have expertise in. It doesn’t matter much so I don’t care to compare our knowledge. I’m just here learning what I can. If my questions are dumb just scroll past them.

 

Wasn’t really meant to be, (sorry if offended you) you may think they aren’t basic, the rest of us who have been in the game for awhile do, newbie questions that have been asked 1000s and 1000s of times.

They really aren’t idiosyncratic to the ‘24 Tacoma, just a bunch of aftermarket parts that can be bolted on. These type of parts have been available for decades. Style and fitment simply changes from model to model.

 

what tires fit on the 24 Tacoma and whether the factory/ARB sport bar offered on this 2024 Trailhunter is compatible with the extended bed rack and other questions that relate to this new truck trim have not been asked thousands of times yet. So we will just have to agree to disagree. Thanks

Your point is .. what exactly? Let’s say you’re right and I’m asking questions that have been asked and answered many times. I don’t agree, but let’s assume that’s true. Is the point that I’m stupid? A newbie? To stop asking these questions? To get answers somewhere else? To make me feel stupid? Articulate what point it is that you’re making. I’d like to know.

 

ohhh, one example: “what is the largest tire can you fit on stock suspension” has been asked 1000s of times. No matter the brand, model, what have you. It is long time running joke. It goes way back long before the internet even existed, in truck magazines. That was the point. Looks like it went over your head, and now you’re offended.

And when a new model comes out… nobody knows … it’s only when the generation has been out for years does it become a running joke … the logic is super simple .. when a model first comes out we are in exploration / learning mode and we all help each other out and exchange information .. the 24 is a totally new frame, suspension etc.. it does not translate from the third gen — this ain’t the same 265/75/16 max tire setup here. I am not the one with anything going over his head.

In any event, I think you’re a nice person. Because I can sense it in your posts. I’d rather not descend into this internet battle of nonsense.

You’re are correct. It is however the same old questions that have been asked decades. Nothing a simple tape measure couldn’t answer.

I get asking questions, yours just seem simple and your wordage of parts were slightly off. Tells me you’re new to the truck scene. That’s ok, we are happy to help to guide you, but trying to correct someone who miss-names parts can be difficult to navigate without them getting offended (as we see here with our slight disagreement of semantics)

Yeah, why I went past the dealer to have look-see at what size tires were on that red truck. It is “new” territory for the ‘24s, but it is nothing new. Does that make sense? Truly I wasn’t trying to offend your newbie-ness.

Did lots of tape measuring on tires. I have my theory on what will fit. But as in the law, theory and practice don’t always align. The books and the courtroom are different. How a suspension behaves with all the variables in real life may prove different form theory.
