    alright since I sold my mr2 every sports car I see makes me sad!
    So I found this on kijiji for 1000 bux! It's a 92 jdm toyota celica all trac 4 or gt four

    seller claims it won't start and just needs a turbo.
    Compression was 185 across the board.

    I have a set of pistons, Rings,all gaskets,Waterpump and oil pump for the 3sgte so I started going to town on it...

    Pistons can be done with bottom end still in the car

    Plans other then the engine rebuild are blow off valve, downpipe, change diff and tranny fluid, powercoat valve cover + other random parts....wheel spacers with wider tires

    Well not much new. Painted all four calipers black.
    Took the crossmembers,oil pan,intake to the carwash to get some grease off...
    Going to drop the rear diff fluid today.....now just waiting for parts!

    great project car. upgrade the axles because they are known to snap easily once you start making more power.

    Love to have one but they are so rare and usually are in really bad condition.

    So honed the cylinders...installed the new pistons/rings!

    Changed all 16 valve stem seals...what a pain

    Cleaned up the bottom end as best I could....retorqed everything and installed new oilpan gasket.
