    I like the marlins also but the local gun shop had the savage callin my name...... If you dont mind me askin... how much did you pay for that thing??

    I believe it was around $220-230. Wal-Mart had them cheapest at just over $200 but they did not have one in stock and I didn't want to wait.

    Yours has the Accutrigger right? The trigger sucks on the Marlin, heavvvy pull.

    Yeah i got the accutrigger and i like it ALOT!!!.... i paid about 250 for mine.... i was just curious what the price difference was between the two

    Well this is my first year really tryin to kill a hog.... but i deff got the fever today... i went and shot my deer rifle to make sure it was still true..... all i have been thinkin about all day was killin a nice big ole buck this year lol

    there is game land here.......but you oughtta see all the idiots that pile up out in those spots...........not careful of anything. i may go to one a few weeks into the season if the crowds die down a bit.

    Oh i know exactly what your talkin about... the WMA's are like that around here..... i have literally been sitting in a tree stand and had a guy shoot a deer not 100 yrds away from me.... thats why i dont hunt them anymore.... its not worth it
