    Nice truck!

I've always been curious about the TRD logo on the grill. Is that an emblem that you buy from the dealer or e-bay and just stick it on there? I am not really a fan of the grill that's on my TRD sport, but somehow having that extra 3 letters on there, make it look better. like no one ever made a mistake..

What wheels are those? They look like 20s off the 4Runner. Also did that badge come on it? I have seen those on ebay didnt know if they were OEM.

Well that's what TW is for. There are a lot of creative people out here that have amazing solutions to the things we don't like about our Taco!..

I love the locking-tailgate-comined-with-door-locks idea that people came up with. I'm just not skilled to do it my self yet. Also, a ton of aftermarket grills are coming out. Just waiting for more designs to choose from and keeping it all stock for now.

technically a TX edition is a TRD with TRD rims black with fake bead locks, black tube steps 5" oval size.

TX Pro add to the above, TRD exhaust.

and its not a abbreviation for texas.

I should know since our 2012 was a TX edition.

There's also the Texas Edition sold only in Texas, sometimes abbreviated TX edition, similar to the TSS version sold only in GST (including Texas coincidentally). Basically a SR5 with $1000 worth of shit and an extra $3000 on the price tag. There is no T|X edition as of yet like there was nationwide in 2012.

Nice looking truck. Although I would pretend it is a NV edition so no one actually thinks you are from Texas. That could be embarrasing.

Just busting your balls OP. Welcome to Tacoma World.

Is nothing especial about Tx edition; just look a little bit different as far logos. Yes, there are 4 Runner rims from ebay. There are another set with black combination on ebay!!

So what are we looking at? That's a TRD grill, but I thought Texas Ed were limited to SR5 models?

TSS edition rims have wheel covers that have a big "T" in the middle.

gulf states use the "TSS" stickers to denote the special SR5's they sell. cant remember off the top what SET uses for that region.

outside of those regions they had TX TRD editions (black 5" oval tube steps, black fake bead lock TRD rims) TX Pro TRD editions (added on top of TX of TRD exhaust), TX Baja Editions (added on top of TX Pro, bilstein reservoir shocks and added 1" of lift and really big side graphic)

and TX stood for Toyota eXtreme.

There is currently no 2016 T|X Pro/T|X Baja (which is what the truck @NoDak keeps referring to is), there is a Texas edition sold only in Texas:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/texas-edition.392315/

The abbreviation for Texas is TX. Anybody referring to a 2016 TX edition can be reasonably assumed to be referring to the Texas edition.

im really confussed by your texas edition for 2 reasons (though I do see the texas badge):
1: the Texas edition is usually on an sr5, not a trd sport
2: the texas edition comes with stainless steel steps, special wheels, texas floor mats, and the badges. yet you have changed the wheels, and you have predator steps, so If you truly have the TX pkg, then you just paid like $3k for special carpet mats and badges.

could you take a picture of your sticker...maybe clear up some confusion
