My New (to me) Taco

    Well I did it. Needed a daily driver that gets some better MPG's than my 95 Land Cruiser and stumbled upon a 2WD 96 Tacoma with the 2RZ-FE and an automatic trans with very good looking frame rails all around. Truck is a little beat up but I got it for $1,400 and besides the AC not working and needing some new bulbs everything else is cosmetic which isn't something high on my priority list. Steering is great, engine sounds strong (with 279,XXX on the dash...LC is at 285,XXX so I have some faith) and brakes work pretty well but planning to flush it out within the week. Got it to be my A to B vehicle so my plans now are to change the plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor, an oil change and a good bath.

    So Tacoma World, how did I do with my first Taco haha

    Haha well original post was $1,600 and when I asked if he was firm he came back with the $1,450 and I had to see what really was his low
