    The 1911 in general is by far my favorite pistol of all time, and the .45 acp just so happens to be my favorite caliber as well. Very nice!:thumbsup:

    Thanx guys. Cant wait to shoot it this wknd. Got to go thru and clean it up and get the packing grease out. Got a basic Bianchi holster for it the 7001 side holster. Just for range shooting only.

    Shoots good too. Its so accurate and feels great in your hands. My brother shot and was literally like "WOW!" Hit dead on with my first shot today. No errors at all.

    Damn those are nice lookin, I really like the Ruger. The gun shop has one similiar to that in the full SS and fluted barrel. Might half to get that one soon.:D But your post siad 22/45, does this one convert into a 45 cal or is it something else?

    No the 22/45 is the model. It has a .45 style grip. Instead of the Luger style grip
