So I haven’t even picked it up yet because it was a fresh trade and still has to go through all of the inspections but I should have it in a few days.

It’s a 2015 V6 auto 4x4. 140k and very detailed service records lived it’s whole life in central Texas. Super clean and it gets me out of my junk 5th gen Ranger.

My question is it has sport badges and body color flares and bumper but not door handles and no scoop. Is it a spot or no? I don’t care if it is or not and the stickers are coming off anyway.

My sport has a scoop, tow package (upgraded alternator, external transmission cooler, etc), came with TRD Bilstein coil-overs.

I believe you can do a vin check.
Maybe try googling Toyota vin check.
I’m guessing you have the vin #.

Does the TRD sport sticker look wrong?

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
Look at the shocks. If you have the yellow and blue ones it's a sport. The hood is a major major redflag. All sports have a scoop. So he either traded the hood for an OR hood or it's some kinda sr5 mix up. All sports come standard with a scoop. You can't get a sport without one. So maybe ask him why his doesn't have one.

The rims are not spot either. They look aftermarket.

No chrome around the grill either on a sport. Mirrors aren’t color matched either.

I believe you all are right and it’s an SR5 with sport stickers and I’m fine with that. I was actually looking for a base 4cyl but the wife liked this one and when the wife is cool you you buying a new truck you buy it

22000 which is more than I wanted to spend but it’s by far the nicest one I’ve looked at in that price range.

At 22k for a 7-8 yr old truck with 140k on it make sure to look it over really well!
Tell them you wanna see underneath they should be willing to let you look at it on a lift. My 12 v-6 had an external head gasket leak on passenger side.
Our coolant is pink look for some pink coral growing. Check frame for rust or heavy undercoating that’s maybe hiding something.
If your not comfortable doing it bring it to someone to look at it.
My 08 was a ac cab 4 banger 5 speed manual.
I wouldn’t do another the double cab is better for kid’s animals and the v-6 4.0 just gets it!
The 4.0 was way better than the 3.5 in my 18 in my opinion.

If you like it get it!

It is an SR-5 with aftermarket wheels and sport decals.

Agreed 100%. As long as they're charging you for an SR5 and not a TRD Sport - and it's in good shape - go for it. You'd be surprised how many unscrupulous folks will slap stickers on something and get the extra money from unsuspecting buyers.

100% this. This truck is 99% likely an SR5 with a TRD sport sticker.

Pics of the interior will tell you as well - SR5 seats are different than the TRD seats.

(IT COULD be a TRD OR given the presence of fog lights, again interior button for the rear locker and a 120v AC power outlet in the bed would let you know this)

No power outlet or locker. While those things would be cool they aren’t a deal breaker. Mostly looking for a good reliable truck and I have a lot of confidence in this one. We already have a 11 4Runner and it’s been trouble free for the near 200,000 miles we’ve had it.

Is it 4wd? My bad just that it was. I’d say 18-20k is about right. If it was a 4door then 22-25k would be right.
