Hey everyone my name is Nathan. I am new to trucks and have a lot to learn. Not only do i have a lot to learn but i have a strong desire to retain as much knowledge about tacomas and trucks as i possibly can!

When i first started looking for a vehicle to buy i went straight to nissan frontiers, however after digging deeper and doing more extensive research i finally sided with and fell for tacomas. I love these trucks and this forum is where i did a lot of my research before i bought my new truck.

I am interested in doing many modifications to my beauty but it is brand new so i am trying to steer clear of voiding the warranty.

Im not sure if i can ask for people to suggest upgrades, where to get them, what to do, what NOT to do, etc. but if i can ask that in my introduction feel free to give me suggestions! I want to learn!

Here are a list of upgrades that i have in mind for the future.
    • 3" suspension lift
      • winch bumper (heres what i had in mind http://www.shrockworks.com/toyota-tacoma-winch-bumper-bull-bar-front-pr-16174.html)
        • Larger tires
          • Dynamat or any other sound insulator (the cheap plastic raddles when i bump music)

I am also interested in other upgrades and open for suggestions.
I am going to upload pictures soon but so far my truck is all factory White TX Pro 2011 with TRD Stainless Steel Performance Exhaust

the shrockworks bumper is awesome, the fit is really tight and i think a lot cleaner than the ARB or any others that i have seen not to mention burly as hell

installing a mod does not void your warranty. if a specific part fails because of a mod, then the dealer has to prove that-that mod was the cause. and even if it was, it does not void the warrenty on the entire vehicle. for example, swapping out the rear differential would never void the warranty on your radio even if the new rear diff caused a failure of some sort.
