I was loading my Polaris ATV into the bed of my truck last night. I didn't stop the ATV from rolling fast enough. It smashed through my rear windshield. :sadviolin:

    Check insurance first...

Then check junk yards and craigs for parts...

Then look at the dealer :p

    Sucks though...

They are only about $240 to replace. There is a store on E-bay that has them for sale. I was going to order one for mine but ended up changing my mind. Not sure of the website but they are pretty good plus they deliver. Have replaced one before it is easier to take it to a proffesional to have them switched. Good luck!

Yeah it is not to bad. Now is also the best time to decide if you want a solid window or a slider. They would not ship to me in Germany but they shouldnt have a problem shipping to you. Just check on Ebay.

Thanks for the sympathies fellas, I'm out of state visiting my folks about 12 hours away on leave. Due back at work on Tuesday morning.

Looks like insurance is the quickest route so far. They wanted to use a mobile service to come out and install aftermarket glass. After a long conversation with safelite, I've told them that I only want OEM parts installed at a local Toyota dealership. They've signed off on my plan so far.

Good call on the OEM glass... They're obligated for at least two years I believe to get OEM per request. At least, that's true of windshields.

All you'll need after that is some tint :D It might be easier for a shop to tint before going on, might be able to save a few coin that way too. Usually the glass guys are cool with that stuff, and have a hookup if you ask.

You can consider replacing the rear window with a CR Lawrence power slider. Doesn't insurance cover the broken window? Maybe you can just pay the difference and get a power slider.
