OK....I'm hoping to organize what I'd like to see as the FIRST ANNUAL TACOMAWORLD KENTUCKY GET-TO-GETHER. The target is tentatively mid to late October. (Not carved in stone either) With that as a goal, it's getting late! I need input from as many of you as possible. Do we want to make the first round just a meet/greet/eat kinda thing? Or do we want a trail run? If so, how many "serious" off roaders, vs just a mild trail ride (on fire roads, etc...)

I'm leaning towards a morning meet, ON A SATURDAY, have breakfast, then go on a trail ride where everything from bone stock to full tilt wild can enjoy the day. While Ive never been there yet, I'm leaning towards Black Mountain (Harlan) Ky. It would make sense to meet somewhere towards the middle of the state....Maybe Elizibethtown or Lexington area(s) Open for suggestions on THAT too. As mentioned, I'm planning this around a Saturday meet. (I have to work Sundays and couldn't be there otherwise) Possibility this could be a camping trip for some....Depends on where we end up.

As the title of this thread mentions "My Old Kentucky Home", I'm close to My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown. We COULD meet there if it's just a meet up.....Do a pot luck "picnic" kinda thing....I'm open for suggestions.

My main goal is to get as many of us as possible in one place at one time. FUTURE events could be more thought out, planned farther in advance, and more people involved. This is just a starting point. After viewing a number of "TacomaWorld" groups on U Tube videos, seeing how much fun they're having, we need to get the ball rolling here in Kentucky!

I have my ideas, but this isn't all about me and what I want. I'm all ears.....Tell me what you would like to see and we'll make this happen.

I would like all the input possible, hopefully in the next 10 days to 2 weeks.....With that, we would have a month or slightly more to make decisions and make arrangements. Let's hear ye one and all!

I'll try your thread. We actually did get a small group together for the Black Mountain trip. We have a small group of "followers" to the "Official Central Kentucky Thread". Next run is Nov. 21st. We'll be doing a recon run to Blue Holler Off Road Park on that day. If you happen to be interested, let me know. We're always happy to add more to the list of participants!

I'd be interested as long as I'm off. I'm located in Richmond. Anything is really fine with me.

About the same situation as me.....Just starting our 2016 budget process @ work. I'll be lucky to see much daylight until mid December. The occasional Saturday...

We're (Me and Sandy) planning at least one more trip to Black Mountain before year's end, would like to see Redbird in Indiana. Land between the Lakes is on the short list. If all goes well, a few going to Blue Holler on the 21st.
