Every place is going to be different. But I bought the same truck in El Paso, TX for 26,500 and that was even after they had to pay off the balance on my 07 Jeep. The dealers purchase the vehicle for a couple grand under invoice. Ask to see the dealer cost. That's what I do then I offer them that price...they usually ask for $500 over. I just cut to the chase when I walk in. I had the salesman chasing after me when I laughed at him and told him he was wasting my time. So, it just depends. Cali is pretty expensive though.

couple grand? thats not true man they cant stretch it that much, a couple hundred is feasible, the invoice on my truck was 27700 when i asked to see the dealer invoice.
they usually ASK for way more than 500 over, they might settle for 500 over if there gonna steal more money from you by having you finance with them. again everywhere is different and as we all know cali rapes truck buyers.

All in all you got a great deal man, but did you trade in your 07 jeep?
is that your otd price? and is your truck a shortbed?

My 09' 4 x 4 TRD Off Road (SB) was 27,600, but that was before the tax (NY - 8.75%) and title.

I also got the 36 month at 0% for the remaining $10,000 outside of the cash i put down on it.

It is never a bad deal unless you feel it is a bad deal.

Congrats on the truck man, you got a fine deal. I just got mine 3 weeks ago and paid a pretty similar price. If you love your purchase and your OTD cost is around the same as the msrp, you did fine.
