They're definitely a look but don't touch pet. If I can upload a video I will in a minute of my trapdoor tarantula eating

Lots of docile tarantulas out there. You can handle and poke/pet them no problem as long as they aren't in the midst or the aftermath of a molt. Rosehairs are the standard, but there are many others. I'd quite like a greenbottleblue:anonymous:

Gbb aren't what I would call a handle able tarantula due to their feeding response

I don't have a lot of knowledge on or experience with them. Had a roommate with one a while back, the spider was a youngin, about a centimeter long. It was real fun to let it crawl around on your hands and up your fingers. Sadly, it escaped and disappeared from its enclosure. Hope it's doin alright to this day, but logic warns me otherwise..

You into scorpions at all? Those little fuckers can be cool as hell to catch in the wild and observe.

Have tons on my fence and find them interesting but I've never kept them. I plan on keeping whip scorpions eventually and have found them in the mountains near my house

Those things look like they belong in a hitchcock horror film. What an odd arachnid.

Female from my understanding. The pedipalps (front legs) are larger on males
