Never made a thread for it because.. well i just now am working on it. But here is my 1998 TRD offroad 5 speed manual with a dealer installed when new TRD supercharger. picked up in august of 2021 for $3500 because the frame was toast with 94k miles, bodys got alot of dents but i'll work on it. after 2 years waiting on getting parts, we are finally assembling this ol girl and i've made my mind up for it. This truck will appear completely stock with wheels and suspension, but i will be tossing a haltech on it and a smaller pulley to get some more power out of her.

The day i got her -

So come july of 2023 i finally have most of the parts, we started doing the frame swap, used a friends rack to get the cab off and this is where its at as of now
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    SO list of new parts:
NEW frame, NEW control arms, NEW ball joints, NEW springs, NEW shocks, NEW wheel bearings up front and backing plates, painted the spindles. NEW power steering rack, new lower intake manifold gaskets, new valve cover gaskets, new starter, new spare tire carrier, new AEM 340lph fuel pump. this truck has been littered with all new OEM toyota parts because... well its worth it. i did paint the underside of the bed to deal with any rust that has started there, next weekend i'll be working on the underside of the cab to clean up rust there, waiting on new power steering lines so i can button up the frame, also need to work on painting the rear axle

first coat of rust encapsulator on the axle
[IMG]pinion seal has a small seep, and I plan on removing the axle shafts to replace backing plates and all that jazz, so this is just the housing being painted

JBA headers on order, as well as power stop calipers because old ones are crusty... TRD pads and toyota rotors coming as well
