I'm about to get a shell. Definitely want the "windoors". I know both LEER and ARE have them. And I want a reinforced roof for a rack like yours.

Question: Please tell me why did you switched from LEER to ARE??? There must have been some advantage gained...right?

    Thanks!

ARE offers a different type of windoor w/ a slider in it, Also the fitment is nicer IMO. The snorkle tou can get from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters, he has a custom template for the Tacos. It does take quite a bit of patience to fit it all together.

Thanks for the insight on the A.R.E. over LEER. I definitely won't get a shell that doesn't offer a windoor with a slider glass in it. So...looks like it's gonna be an A.R.E. for me.

BTW...I love the DO front bumper. I think it is my favorite look of the handful of those plate styles. Still NOT sure if I like the DO wrap-around rear bumper...or the CBI (non-wrap around plate) bumper better. I may have to go mix n match. Is there a reason you went wrap around over non-wrap (besides the obvious protection value)? Looks like a lot of work to cut the side panels of the bed. But damn it looks very good!

Your truck is definitely my favorite on this site!

Ok the new and improved Demello front bumper, goes out to the edge of the flare and is cut out around the body. Also got the Rhino Lining in the bed and the fender flares , rocker panels. Got it done by Phil at Rhino Lining of Orange County in Santa Ana. The Warn 9.0 Rc is in and just need to put the winchline on.
