    This is fun. Sails work on the principle of lift somewhat like an airplane wing. It's a bit counterintuitive but the wind doesn't push a sailboat. Lift caused by the sail's foil shape PULLS the boat. That's why we can sail upwind. If it were push we'd only be able to move with the wind.

    You would heel a bit to the side you were on with the leaf blower because of your weight and the thrust of the blower. The pressure now being lower on the front side of the sail caused by the increased pressure caused by the leaf blower on the back side would draw the boat forward. there would also be air directed tword the stern by the sail which would also add to the SLOW forward motion of the boat.

    It would probably be most efficient to point the blower backwards off the stern but I maintain my stand that you could "sail" the boat with air from the leaf blower.

    I agree with Newton and it would be 100% correct if the blower were aimed forward. I'm proposing the blower be positioned at a right angle to the centerline of the boat. The opposite reaction would be an increased angle of heel on the side the blower is located and force trying to move the boat to the side rather than forward. This is something that boats deal with any time they're not sailing directly down wind and the boat's keel or centerboard would minimize it.
